Every commission begins with a story.
Your $200 Design Deposit reserves dedicated studio time to begin transforming yours into an original work of art. Together, we'll explore the imagery, symbolism, atmosphere, and composition that will make your painting uniquely your own—and quietly weave another story into the greater mythos of the Veilgarden.
The Design Deposit is non-refundable and included within the total investment of your completed painting. It is not an additional fee.
What Your Design Deposit Includes
Your commission begins with a collaborative design process including:
An initial conversation about your story and vision
Review and research of your references
Preliminary composition development
Rough digital sketch
Color palette and color study
Two rounds of major design revisions
A personalized Commission Proposal outlining the scope, investment, and anticipated timeline for your piece
This is the stage for exploration. Significant changes to composition, pose, imagery, symbolism, background elements, and color direction should be made before your design receives final approval.
Commission Investments
Original commissions are individually developed and priced according to scale and complexity. Current starting investments are:
[16”x20”] — starting at $640
[24”x36”] — starting at $1800
[48”x48”] — starting at $4600
[48”x60”] — starting at $5800
Your $200 Design Deposit is included within the final investment shown above.
Unusually complex compositions, specialty materials, multiple subjects, framing, specialized freight, or other additions may affect the final investment. Any additional costs will be discussed with you before work begins.
Your Investment Journey
You will not be asked to pay the entire commission investment today.
Once your preliminary design is approved, the remaining investment is divided across two creative milestones:
Design Deposit — $200
Reserves your commission and begins development of your preliminary design.
First Studio Milestone (50%)
Due after design approval and before painting begins. Your commission then enters the studio and progresses toward your Midpoint Studio Preview.
Final Studio Milestone
Due after Midpoint approval and before final painting begins. Your piece then receives its final layers, details, and finishing work before the Grand Unveiling.
Your Design Deposit and all previous payments are credited toward the total commission investment.
Bloom Keeper
Warden of the Lilies in The Stillness
In the quiet center of the Veilgarden lies a place known simply as The Stillness.
Here the wind rarely moves, and a vast garden of pale lilies grows upon calm water that reflects both sky and memory. These lilies are not ordinary flowers — they mark the subtle boundaries between moments, the fragile spaces where the Veilgarden pauses and reshapes itself.
These lilies are tended by the Bloomkeeper.
He moves slowly through the mirrored water, guiding the garden’s quiet kaleidoscope of spirit energy. Wherever he passes, the lilies turn toward him, their petals following his path like constellations orienting themselves to a familiar sky.
For in the Veilgarden — the place where the forgotten springs life and stars bloom worlds — even flowers remember their purpose.
And the Bloomkeeper ensures they never forget.

Far from the forests of The Stillness, beyond where rivers disappear into deeper waters, lies a quiet threshold Sphere of the Veilgarden known as the Tidebound Court.
It is here that Rhayael keeps watch.
His domain is the Drowned Garden, shimmering moonstone ruins shaped by slow tides and patient transformation. Souls and spirits who arrive here are rarely certain whether they are ending something or beginning again.
Rhayael does not rush them.
Like the calm ocean between storms, he governs this sacred pause — the moment of Convalescence, when the Veilgarden allows wounds to close and old shapes to dissolve before emerging as something new entirely.
The ephemeral waters around him remain tranquil, but they are never empty.
Everything that passes through the Veilgarden must eventually pass the tide.
And Rhayael presides over them all, patiently nurturing each transformation.
For even here, at the quiet edge of becoming, the Veilgarden remembers its oldest truth — where the forgotten springs life and stars bloom worlds.

The Oracle in The Primordia
Deep within the hidden sanctuaries of the Veilgarden, there lies a realm where the past, present, and future are woven together in the quiet threads of knowledge. This is the sphere of Primordia, a place untouched by time’s chaotic march, where clarity emerges in the pause between breaths.
Here resides Pythia, once the Oracle of Delphi, she channels the ancient prophecies whispered to her by the unseen currents of the Veilgarden. Through her truths drift between realms like sacred smoke carried on unseen tides. She is the keeper of secrets, the holder of revelations both terrible and divine, forever listening to the murmuring pulse beneath reality itself.
This work captures her in the serene moment between visions—where clarity is not rushed but allowed to unfold in the still, sacred silence of Primordia. Pythia watches the lives of mortals, her mind tracing the fate-lines drawn and erased in an endless dance of destiny. Around her, prophecy blooms slowly, like constellations reflected upon dark water.
In her presence, time stands still. The secrets of the Veilgarden are hers to unravel, and every whisper she utters sends ripples through worlds unseen.

Red Hawk
Of the Veilgarden’s Wild Blooming Places
Red is a simple man with simple needs. Everything changes when he is whisked away into this strange new world full of technicolor visions and whimsical characters. In one of the Veilgarden’s more unruly realms, a red hawk fixes the viewer with a gaze that is equal parts judgment, patience, and dry amusement.
He sits in The Stillness like a sovereign in the midst of wild abundance: cantankerous, observant, and wholly unconvinced that anyone else is managing things correctly. Coffee in hand, he presides over the flowering chaos with the energy of someone who did not ask to be transformed, but will tolerate it.
Red observes impassively — and somewhere below, the Gardener tends the flowers while the Warden keeps watch as the forgotten springs life and stars bloom worlds.

King Cozy
Sovereign of the Stillness
In the tranquil fields of the Veilgarden, where silence drifts like warm summer rain and the lilies open beneath silver moons, there rests a gentle sovereign known simply as King Cozy.
Unlike the rulers sung of in mortal histories, King Cozy claims no throne of gold, nor commands armies beneath banners of conquest. His kingdom is one of Stillness. Of comfort. Of sacred rest.
Curled peacefully within the embrace of a blooming lotus, King Cozy radiates a quiet magic that softens weary hearts and calms wandering minds. Travelers who stumble into his presence often find themselves overcome by an unfamiliar peace, as though the burdens they carried were briefly set aside by the Veilgarden itself.
Some say the lilies bloom brighter while he sleeps. Others believe his dreams ripple gently through the waters, soothing the realms beyond sight. Whatever the truth may be, all agree upon one thing: the Veilgarden grows kinder in his presence.
This work captures King Cozy in serene repose as warm light dances across still waters and lotus blossoms cradle him like a living crown. Around him, the Veilgarden hushes into reverence, honoring the sacred necessity of rest in a world forever in motion.
