Celina M Castaneda
Vet nurse by day and artist by night, Celina M. Castaneda lives between two very different worlds - one grounded in science and care, the other in myth, imagination, and quiet wonder.
Her artwork explores consciousness, psychological archetypes, and mythology through creatures and characters that inhabit a shared mythic landscape she calls The Veilgarden - a place where forgotten gods wander, gentle guardians tend hidden groves, and travelers occasionally slip through the thin veil between worlds.
She endeavors to help the mind and inner child through art by exploring such concepts of the collective unconscious.
Castaneda works primarily in graphite, colored pencil, pan pastels, and acrylic paint, creating pieces that balance delicate linework with atmospheric color.
When she isn’t covered in fur, the occasional assortment of veterinary fluids, or artistic mediums - she can usually be found outside communing with nature and contemplating our place in the universe.
One breath at a time.
