Nikita Mosswhisker
Entomologist of Bramblewhisker Forest in The Stillness
Among the tangled roots and mushroom terraces of the Bramblewhisker Forest lives Nikita Mosswhisker — the Veilgarden’s most dedicated observer of small lives.
Where other forest spirits tend groves or guard ancient paths, Nikita studies all manner of insects; though, her particular concentration lies within the order Lepidoptera.
She catalogs wing patterns, maps the migration routes of luminous moths, and maintains an ever-growing archive of the Veilgarden’s strangest arthropods. Her moss-covered study is filled with tiny specimen drawers, magnifying lenses carved from dewglass, and carefully annotated scrolls describing creatures that exist nowhere outside the Veilgarden. The forest itself seems to encourage her work.
After all, the smallest inhabitants of the Veilgarden are often the first to sense when the veil begins to shift.
As the Veilgarden shifts, breathes and ushers forth a new Sphere alongside The Stillness, Nikita Mosswhisker is always watching. For one never knows just when the forgotten springs life and stars bloom worlds.
